That is a real flamingo Bridget! Flamingos are actually really shy and we were very lucky to get to be so close to them. We didn't get to pet them. Aren't they beautiful

So did you know that flamingo's get their color from the crustaceans they eat (or something along those lines). Great photos!
It really is another world.
It is a sunny & crisp day here in Bellingham. Finally! : ) Not sure how much local weather you get to check out but we had 17 days of rain in a row. Baker & Blackcomb mtns are already open! I went to Blackcomb last weekend. There was an inversion so I got to ski in the sun... it was pretty sweet.
